Happy (?) Diwali

Do we really celebrate,I mean with shopping which charms out money on the pretext of giving good stuff at stuffed-up prices only and even sweets that come adulterated in the meanest imaginable ways,do we really feel the joy or do we pretend we are happy and shade the real indifference under the laughs and hellos and happy Diwali ?
